Use the Object search to search for objects in your object schema using either IQL or Free Text. After you've created your search, you can save it for later, select it as a favorite, or share with your team using their email, or distribute it freely using the URL. You can edit, move, or delete all or some of the objects you've selected. You can also select a group of objects and print QR codes or labels, or view the selected objects in the Object graph.

Creating a new object search

Click on Insight Object search. You can enter enter either IQL or FreeText in the text box:

  • FreeText will search the text of all objects and object attributes for relevant strings, but will not search any non-string data.
  • IQL can be used to create more advanced queries using logical statements, placeholders, and references. In the object search screen, the built-in autocomplete will assist you in creating IQL searches. For more information, see IQL - Insight Query Language.
